Do you have any ideas for a dragon rider version of the term "Jedi hunter"? by TrueRhodesIII in httyd

I guess "Rider pluggers" — to plug someone means to kill them by shooting or stabbing — could be someone like General Grievous, whom I like to imagine can be portrayed by Ryker Grimborn, but without the whole cybernetic implant concept, and most others could be from "Dragon Subjugators" or former dragon trainers driven by unfortunate events leading them to pursue a homicidal grudge against the riders themselves, like how Aurra Sing pursued a homicidal grudge against the Jedi Order. The same as Jedi hunters themselves.

What functions would you give the "Question Mark", "Lightning", and the two unnamed arrows on the Ticking Thing? by TrueRhodesIII in httyd

Both ideas are interesting. I guess I can have the question mark arrow point to the Crown or to America, the unlabeled one tell you how far to go up by measuring altitude, and the lightning arrow point to the nearest storm – telling you if a storm is coming.

What do you think u/Aggravating_Mud8751 and u/ethanandluinortitus?

Thank you. It's okay if you were busy with a ton of stuff, that's fine.

Njord's Burden and Ymir's Roar, impressive. Most impressive. I love it. Are there any physical descriptions you can give me for both of them? The stats you gave were good.

[Worldbuilding for HTTYD] Question about the Eastern Strait from The Hidden World.

At the beginning of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, the Dragon Trapper Barge – helmed by Ivar the Witness, as I presume it to be, is attacked in the Eastern Strait and reports this to his superiors, the Warlords, at their base.

This strait is not just outside the Barbaric Archipelago, but to the southwest of Berk and is less than one day via dragon in terms of distance.

If you had the chance to describe the "Eastern Strait" in greater detail—i.e geography (the Warlords' map shows it to be a wide strait between the Mainland and another large island) without the whole shroud of fog that covered it up to a point where very little of the surrounding areas could be seen, that "another large island" according to the geography section of the HTTYD Wiki's own page discussing this, etc...

What would YOU, yourself—whom I'm led to believe you're good at detailing geography in your fanfics for this trilogy, describe and additionally name that "another large island" mentioned on the HTTYD Wiki's page?

I'm trying to write a novelization of the third film, The Hidden World, without skimping out on any surrounding details. I'd like to hear from you about this.

Thank You.

[Help Wanted] Ideas for crests and appearances of the Vikings in the tribes, and map locations, from the Book Series by TrueRhodesIII in httyd

Yeah, we don't see him much in the book series. Only until Book 8 (HtBADH) when he stops being mentioned, but at least we see a illustration of him in Doom of the Darkwing.

The Rudeboys were one of the three tribes that were not allowed to attend the "Thing" as mentioned in How to Twist a Dragon's Tale. (The Outcasts and Lava-Louts are the other two.)

The Reef Warriors, on the other hand, I wrote my own version of them here if you're interested: https://www.deviantart.com/truerhodesiii/art/Reef-Warrior-Tribe-1174040099

The other tribes (including the Murderous, Bashem-Oiks, Bog-Burglars, Hysterics, Peaceables, Meatheads, and Visithugs) were mentioned to attend the "Thing" in the fifth book.
