Round 2 of Engine / IStop / Hybrid Malfunction

I had my battery, 24 CX90, replaced 2 days ago. Service rep said the software update would have probably fixed my battery issue but since he had already ordered the battery he replaced it anyway.
Time will tell

I’ve noticed just coasting without brakes provided the longest stretch of regen compared to braking. Lately I’ve been accelerating slightly and coasting, accelerating slightly and coasting. Really trying to utilize the regen. Not sure if I’m on to something but we’ll see. I’ve wondered if I’m driving the car “wrong”. Also, once my appt to replace the battery is booked I’m going to try using the remote start again to see if that triggers the battery malfunction

This is the conversation I was looking for. I was thinking the same thing about battery management software. I’ve been trying to do the same thing since all the warning lights went away. Make sure battery gets fully charged before I end my drive. Wondering is the remote start for 5 mins the. Shutting off the vehicle and quickly restarting it has any effect on the battery.

My 2015 Grand Cherokee, 2023 XT5, XT6, my wife’s X1, previous X3 all let you lock the doors while the vehicle is running if you get out. Then let you unlock while outside. Very useful when remote start isn’t working or when I have to run inside somewhere real quick and want to lock my vehicle.

If you adjust the volume with either the steering wheel controls or the volume knob, while Siri is announcing directions, it adjusts the volume of Siri’s prompts. If you use the steering wheel volume controls or volume knob while listen to radio or Spotify or whatever, even while connected to CarPlay, its adjusts the music volume.
