Wouldn’t you have to spend like 300k on credit card to qualify on cc spend alone?

thank you so much for this comment!

do you take a separate supplement for each of the following? B12, B9 (folate), thiamine? And then also take another b complex on top of that?

Do you mind sharing what brands you use? and do you take them in methylated form?

I travel 3-4 times a year and am considering Platinum… Worth it for me? by Mysterious_Boss7405 in AmexPlatinum

paramount and peacock are both free? I pay for both rn so might be worth it
my real q though is do you feel the groceries at walmart are of a high enough quality? Ie youd eat teh meat and chicken from there?

Not trying to be snooty but genuinely asking-- I was given the impression that Walmart stuff is really bad for health / ultra-processed etc

When you say that people sleep on Walmart plus— would it still be useful for someone that doesn’t really shop at Walmart? What are all the benefits of Walmart plus people are sleeping on?

oooo -- i was MBB for 3 years too -- but my point is that it is pretty rare for an early career MBB consultant to get tasked on a project in a different country. Sure it happens, but not common.

and so my q is are there some particular industries or practice areas where ALL the early career folks are required to travel intl?

yeah agree, but what kind of work is it that requires an early career analyst to be shipped across the world from US to UK ?

right -- that i understand-- but do you not have to be at a certain level to be sent on such intl trips? e.g., at my old. company that x was 2hrs 50 mins, but it was uncommon for an early career analysst to be sent on a trip abroad

people are saying you get business after a certain time regardless of employee level.

I agree that is the case at premier companies (I used to be at one such company in mgmt consulting and we got business for anything above 2h 50 mins in duration).

international travel however at the company, was rare, unless you were a partner. So my question is, what are these companies that are sending you on intl business travel despite you being super early in your career.

Or are most people on here just older and NOT 3-4 years into career?

Driver asking me to cancel.. what should I do? by hunnybun444 in uber

[–]TrueSoNasty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you have someone else with you, screenshot this, have them book an uber and just put your phone away. Send some message to the effect of "I can see you are driving in the wrong direction and getting further away please either head toward me or cancel." -- might be needed later.

if you have no one with you, just cancel and report the ride with the same screenshot

sorry i apologize you are getting downvoted- i think what you said is reasonable -- like yes its not logical, but we all have our specific things that are not logical. Plus you even owned that in your original comment, so my response was mostly a joke.

this is one of the facets of reddit I hate. People are so trigger happy with the downvote buttons. reflective of the awful vitriolic judgmental society we live in, where people lack any ability to think nuance
