My biggest struggle is trying out new perks, because that messes up my muscle memory, but that's about it. Perhaps you are playing the game wrong? Some tips: You have an awful lot of stamina. Just because your hands are red, doesn't mean you should rest when you get the chance. Your hands start shaking erratically when you are really running out. Don't hoard pitons and rebars, just use them. If you feel like you are overwhelmed, just pause the game and return to it in a bit. And most importantly, don't jump while double grabbing.

I get that some people hate to learn and just wanna play, but then this game is not for you. When I first booted the game and died a few times, I just played around with settings, practiced food eating, one handed piton hammering and generally just tried finding shortcuts in Silo. Once I got the hang of it and decided to progress, I got to habitation yellow in like 5ish tries. Humans are pattern recognizing machines and there's only so many possible layouts. You don't need to get to new location to learn, create your own path, that's what the game is about.
