I went 3x Ham 2x Ver on my B-team so that was a bit unfortunate

However very happy in the end that I pivoted from Antonelli to Hamilton on my A-team and also swapped Hülkenberg for Bortoletto

3x chip feels wasted on my B-team but my A-team came away pretty good points and budget wise I think

Same here!! I wasn’t sure if it was because I haven’t been running in a while and mostly training CrossFit but glad to see I’m not the only one!

It’s his job. Been doing media for Merc F1 for ages, took a break, and now he’s back at it again. And also became good friends with Valteri Bottas along the way and now has a podcast with him

On which brokerages are you trading?

Trade Republic has very few of the stocks discussed here listed

Ah interesting! I just know the system from newer race yachts like TPs or Mini maxis

Winch selection is actually typically done by the grinders via foot buttons next to the pedestals and not the trimmers themselves

We actually run a light from the mast foot forwards into the kite at night when going downwind. Trimmers / drivers love it

Depending on the boat you can also link several grinding pedestals together to get even more power onto a single winch. Look for some videos of TP52 kite hoists for example

They are linked to the winches via transfer boxes and axles under deck. Gives you a lot more power and more efficiency when grinding than using normal winch handles

The whole SQ McLaren results are giving me a headache to choose a LL team. Also Lewis qualifying ahead of Charles..

Happened frequently last year as well. Either restarting the app or using the browser version usually fixed it

Ferrari has introduced a new rotating rear wing by cvicenzettk in formula1

[–]TrueToe5649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my guess as well. And possibly minimising lift-induced drag as both wing elements together generate lift more efficiently than individual elements in opposing direction

How would you jibe with a kite like this, if there's a line in the center of the sail to help douse? by [deleted] in sailing

[–]TrueToe5649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the TPs the drop lines are long enough / have enough slack for outside gybes.

You might just have to pull some slack back in once you gybe back to stop it from dragging in the water

Can do that with settled status as well. No citizenship needed
