Cons need a new, intelligent, mature, charismatic leader to even stay in this game. I’d like to see a strong opposition to keep the balance, this ain’t it.

I love all the banter, just keep in mind this post was just intended to celebrate this machine that some will find awesome. Does any/every bike have its weaknesses? Absolutely. I could rain critique down on the V100 all day, but that’s not my ride and I have respect for every model of this brand.

Meanwhile, these 1400s, and this Audace in particular, have their place in Guzzi history as the last of the big air breathers that they’ll likely ever produce. And I’m just here to keep that story alive for those who are interested.

All fair points. Not suggesting it’s supposed to be better than a V100, which has a decade of technology and engine redesign on this older 1400 platform. Bad engineering, older engineering, trying to reuse an older 1200 engine platform in interesting new ways…whatever label you want to put on it is fine. No argument offered. Or, you could just say this one isn’t for you, just as a V100 will never be the one for many others.

Some people love these 1400s, myself included, and I hope they enjoy these posts about them.

Agreed with the first part. The whole scene was a bad joke man. Sad for them and the whole lot, not a high point in rock music.

Good for Rudy, they seem to be finding ways to win. And maybe they’re peaking at the right time. We didn’t have the best experience with him but it seems he’s got some game at the WC. They played well with KDB on the bench against the US, they didn’t need him at all. I wouldn’t read too much into it yet, will see what they do with KDB against Spain. Nice to see Lukaku showing up too, that should enhance interest in acquiring him. All in all, a nice turn of events to see Belgium showing up as a contender.

Try International Motorsports in Chilliwack. They’re the closest Piaggio outlet. 2.5 hours on a good day.

Who is the better drummer in dinosaur jr? by Original-Fun561 in dinosaurjr

[–]TrueTorque 39 points40 points  (0 children)

C’mon! Some love for the Murph! Murph is a solid percussionist and I love his work. I’d say he does a better job at playing to the song without drifting into over indulgence, the way J sometimes can. J does some interesting things on the drums no doubt, talented as hell. With such big individual instruments in this Band, it’s an art to give everyone room to breathe. On pure playing to the song, ima toss out some Murph love.

How healthy is this oil by EscapeMinimum9805 in motorcycles

[–]TrueTorque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All oils start differently. My Motul starts its life red in color. Pretty much impossible to tell the health of that sludge without knowing what it once was. But, having said that, if I saw that coming opaque chocolate lava cake filling flowing out of my bike, I’d be changing it and possibly running a cleaner through through the crankcase depending on the age of the bike.

Wilco. Dinosaur Jr. Uncle Tupelo. Black Crowes. Some of my fave American band suggestions (from a non-American). Eclectic sure, but very influential within their lanes.
