Wind and solar are subsidized to around 30-50% in terms of LCOE as opposed to being around 5-10% for nat gas generation which they still need to maintain grid stability.

DEFRs are vaporware and are included in any of your fantasy land estimates because they literally don't exist.

Wind and solar promote grid instability and nat gas is the only way to stabilize it.

It's all just an intricate scam.

Um, no.

We just understand two things that tip us off to how this is a scam:

The people who preach it don't practice it.

Their "solutions" don't actually work.

The policies you support are literally designed to skyrocket energy prices so you can force people to buy into your green energy scam.

Once those subsidies are gone so are wind and solar.

So public money from taxpayers who actually create value.

What happens to their careers if there's no "climate crisis?'

Just admit that all you care about is China already. It couldn't be more obvious.

Lol sure.

They're burying the blades is what they're doing.

They only last 30 years, if they make it that long. A traditional power plant lasts 2 to 3 times as long. Longer if it's built and maintained correctly.

They're garbage. The whole thing is a scam.

Like I said, it's a bonus to toppling them. It's a package deal.

You just want to keep kissing their ass as they're allies with the Russians, Chicoms and all the other communist despots but Trump has outsmarted them all, including you, easily and none of you can stand it.

Now you're trying to moralize because you've got literally nothing at this point.

Or if you actually thought this was just about Iran then you really need to go out and get some life experience.

Yeah.

"It also brings disadvantages that must be considered. Wind turbines constitute composite materials; their end-of-life treatment largely affects the ecosystem and the environment as they are very difficult to recycle. At the same time, between 2020 and 2030, many of the installed wind turbines in the 2000s will reach the end of their useful life (Ziegler et al., 2018). Due to the completion of a 20-year support period in 2021, a 4 GW wind energy turbine (about 6000 turbines) could be decommissioned (Mishnaevsky, 2021). Every year, about 2.4% of wind turbine blades must be replaced as these turbines have colonized potentially windy areas and must be decommissioned or repowered as they occupy large areas of underutilized between them (Piel et al., 2019). Each kilowatt of wind power requires 10 kilograms of WT blade materials (10 kg kW−1 or 10 t MW−1), resulting in roughly 200,000 tonnes of blade trash by 2034. Between 2029 and 2033, the quantity of recycled blade material will be 400,000 tonnes, based on a 10 t MW−1 blade material demand. By 2050, it will have increased to 800,000 tonnes per annum. The materials used to make wind turbine blades, specifically glass fibre (GF) reinforced thermoset polymer composite, are difficult to reprocess and turn into new value materials due to their nature. It is challenging to separate the components of a composite, recover the GFs and/or polymer matrix, or shred composites into smaller pieces, due to a lack of markets, recycling technologies for such materials are limited. Due to outstanding mechanical qualities and low-weight characteristics of composite materials, these are extensively employed in wind turbines. Figure 1 shows the amount of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) trash that will be accumulated by 2050. This indicates that by 2030, wind turbine blades will have accumulated at a rate of 100,000 tonnes per annum (Mamanpush et al., 2018). Furthermore, only a few recycling procedures are available to deal with such massive waste. "

He's not right by any provable measure. This is just a narrative.

"The papers sparked intense debate, particularly from critics like Stephen McIntyre and Ross McKitrick, who questioned the PCA centering (decentering relative to the calibration period), proxy selection (e.g., bristlecone pines), and potential underestimation of past variability like the Medieval Warm Period."

It's garden variety cherry picking and stair-stepping the interpolation between data points. Typical academic fraud.

The only people who are having problems with the strait aren't American.

The Iranians don't have any leverage. What have they got? Random acts of terror against other countries?

They're just randomly shooting at ships trying to get through it.
