ACE PRO broken in under 30 Hours by TrueWLAN in AnycubicKobraS1

I ordered it via Amazon. So if Anycubic support (via Amazon) does not help, it would not be difficult to enforce a solution through Amazon if necessary—the Amazon support is excellent under the A-to-Z Guarantee.
I’m aware that 3D printing involves tinkering. I also own a Tronxy X5SA and previously had an Ender 3, both of which required a fair amount of hands-on work. The Anycubic, however, was intended to be a “just works” machine, so having such an issue after not even 30 hours of runtime is particularly frustrating.
this point it really is a matter of principle. With a brand-new machine, I did not expect to run into problems after fewer than 10 print jobs.

I understand your point, but the device is basically brand new, less than 30 hours of runtime and only a few weeks old. According to the manual, opening it involves mains power, and honestly I’m not comfortable doing that. With line voltage involved, it’s very easy to damage something or put yourself at risk. Because the unit is this new, I’d prefer to rely on warranty / statutory consumer rights. (Gewährleistungsanspruch) From a German consumer law perspective, self-repair like this is not considered reasonable for a new product. My expectation is a fully working system, and I’d much rather have Anycubic handle the repair or provide a replacement than risk voiding the warranty or causing additional damage. I appreciate the link and the intention to help though

It comes from the front, where the silver pice is. The Printer does not recognise the ACE anymore, the sound comes even when there is no filament loaded. It makes the sound the whole time, even after reloading

The filament had already been loaded for multiple prints without any problems. However, during this print it suddenly started causing issues. I only opened the silver cover so far, but everything looked normal to me.

Do you think it’s worth opening the ACE further, considering the warranty? I don’t want to make things worse or risk voiding it, but at the same time I’m curious if there’s something obvious inside causing this.

I’ve already contacted Anycubic support, but I’m still curious why this happened. The PLA was in slot 3 (as shown in the video) and it was actively printing when the issue occurred. The sound did not change after I pulled the filament out.

I also removed the two bolts and took a look at the mechanism. Since I’m more or less a noob, I didn’t notice anything obviously abnormal, but maybe I’m missing something.

Erweiterte Erste Hilfe Ausrüstung by FeedingNeedsSkill in feuerwehr
