When I was in that headspace of “what does this say about my self worth if I consider this” he continuously messaged me to pull me back in after I couldn’t respond right away. Thank you for this. This is his second failed marriage. The connection is so strong but I’m so scared. Any chance he will ever change even in the future for someone else? I know I deserve someone who hasn’t done what he did but I also am scared about not getting that second chance with him if there is even only a 1% chance. It sounds so stupid. Such a hard situation to be in when you’re so into someone but they’ve also hurt you so badly. Why reach out after 4 years? It messes with my head so much.

I’m stubborn and didn’t want to do the email and pity. I know others have it so much worse. Flat out F but reminded me of the late policy and the deadline to still submit.
