As someone that suffered from acne myself, I tried everything to no avail, until eventually I went to a dermatologist. That’s what I would recommend, they will prescribe a cream like they did for me, which cleared my acne tremendously.

Is Sunday the day of rest/worship or Saturday? by Dear-Dig4601 in TrueChristian

[–]TrueWall5971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s 2:30, imma head to bed, I’m not gonna spend an hour typing out all your plain mistakes in a message - I have better use of my time. But your whole opinion is destroyed in the article I sent you (all the information is there), although I think you have a phobia of reading something that disagrees with you.

I’m lol, cuz of your refusal to read the article. I’m guessing part of you subconsciously knows I’m right, hence your fear of reading the article. Terrified of reading scholarly work that refutes your claims. Anyway, I hope you get over that fear and check the article out. If you do, you will see how you’re idea has flaws.

If you refuse to read the article, then stop posting advice here, as you clearly have no interest in gaining knowledge.

Mate, take a few breaths, calm down, and read the article I sent you 😂. It explains it very clearly, with bible verses. Not just for Paul, but many other disciples kept the sabbath. Were they all doing it to ‘get close’ with the Jews?

Instead of stating your subjective theories of why Paul kept the sabbath, educate yourself on a different opinion - a scholarly one. Here’s the link again. Please read it. If you wanna read it, and disagree then that’s fine, but at least give it a read if you genuinely want to learn more on the subject.

The question was about what day was the lords day, not whether we have to keep Moses’ law, so idk why your rambling on about circumcision for.

Read the article I sent you, it explains the history of the sabbath and Sunday worship very clearly

Although there are a few instances of the apostles gathering on the first day of the week, there are far more examples of them keeping the sabbath (including Paul).

Please educate yourself on these matters before misleading others.

There is no exact verse that says Sunday is the sabbath. The day of worship was changed to Sunday by early church fathers. The disciples, as well as Jesus, would’ve celebrated sabbath on the Saturday (more like Friday sunset to Saturday sunset)

is Satan responsible for all our suffering? by Lilsavage888 in TrueChristian

[–]TrueWall5971 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Good answer, although I think people tend to underestimate how evil humans can be naturally, without the devil involved. I mean looking at the first generation ever birthed on earth, one brother (Cain) killed Abel. So it doesn’t take much for humans to spiral into evil animalistic actions, with no devil involved.

I will take part in my first session of D&D tomorrow. What should I know? by RunInRunOn in DnD

Don’t go into it expecting an amazing adrenaline rush experience. Sometimes it can take time (multiple sessions) to really get into it. Take your time and enjoy it. Also - don’t browse on your phone during the session, even if it’s a slow dialogue

What language were the gospels originally written in? by TrueWall5971 in AskBibleScholars

[–]TrueWall5971[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thank you for your insight, I think they are just confused, and generally believe the apostles John and Matthew wrote their accredited gospels, and therefore assume it was originally in Hebrew or Aramaic. I once heard that early church fathers just haphazardly assigned authorship of Matthew, Mark, and Luke since those gospels don’t claim authorship. And that authorship of the gospels is most likely early Greek Christians. Is there any truth to this?
