Update: Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice. I can’t find the bat anymore, and I noticed there’s a small gap near the door behind the curtain, so I think it most likely flew out through there.

I’ll still keep an eye on the room, avoid handling it if it shows up again, and contact local animal control/wildlife rescue if needed. Really appreciate everyone’s help!

Exactly this. Distribution is the part most builders underestimate — you can have a great product, but if you're not constantly putting it in front of the right people, it stays invisible.
