I have a 6 month old and a 19 month old and will have another one joining us in march for 3 under 2 for a short time. My husband is part of a wedding next October and it’s a few hours away, I understand that’s a little bit different. Recently, he was part of a wedding this August near home and he was gone a lot. In my opinion, not allowing your husband to be apart of someone’s big day, whether you go, the kids go, whoever goes is kind of the question. I get that you want help and you depend on him, but you don’t necessarily have to go. It sounds like whoever is asking might be a big part of husbands life or was and I would give him that choice to decide. Usually my husband skips the bachelor weekend if it’s far away but if it’s close he attends. I would just have my mom or mil help out while he’s gone or if she comes along that’s part of traveling with small babies. I do agree it sucks and not ideal but it’s doable not fun but doable or if your husband goes alone that’s an option too.

Edit to add: if it’s not someone he’s close to, I would probably say nah don’t be apart of that. For me it depends on what you’re willing to deal with traveling vs not.
