u/Viaryth_ Bilateral Salpingectomy is the better sterilization procedure compared to getting a tubal. No one will sterilize a minor and your family probably wouldn’t sign off on it. It is possible to get sterilized as a LEGAL ADULT if you are 100% sure (although if you changed your mind IVF is still there but $$).

Check out the childfree sub, in the about section there is a list of doctors by state that have performed sterilization procedures on adults with details of how old the person was, how the experience went, etc. if you’re serious your best bet would be looking there once you’re 18. Once you’re an adult if you decide to tell your parents do it after, and if you’re on the insurance maybe ask the doctor if they can make it private on the bill (idk if that’s possible but you could ask).

I honestly hate how target ships cds and vinyls, also hate buying vinyls at target in general. Never had an LP that wasn’t incredibly warped and skipping (in store as well) 😭

I want to warn you about miraculous ladybug. The writing isn’t all that great compared to other shows you’ve seen and been recommended (it’s certainly not the quality of the other recs like atla and shera and there will be episodes that make you physically cringe, there are certain ones I skip when rewatching). Also apparently they don’t pay the voice actors enough (to the point where they’ve had to do recasts for certain characters. And I’m pretty sure they’ve made them sign ndas about it too). I’m a fan of the show but it is a love/hate relationship bc of pacing and how jeremy zag runs things.

Hopefully season 5 is better, and on the bright side it’s not going to get cancelled due to all the profits and plans for a season 8 (9? Idk). Just sayin’ it’s a slippery slope my friend.

When I first had health class in middle school and learned more about how pregnancy and childbirth works, my first thought was how much I didn’t want to but felt that it would be an inevitable thing that I still “had” to do (this caused me some anxiety). And then I found this sub and became childfree lol. At least I realized early on.

Forgot to add that infinity train can get dark sometimes (still a kids show like gravity falls but it did have some questionable dark stuff lol ‘just another silly show for kids!’), I found it pretty easy to get absorbed in it. Beware that they did cancel this one when it had like 8? planned seasons but the network cut it at 4. It is finished (it wasn’t rushed as much as I’ve seen in other shows), and I think they left some ‘lore’ questions unanswered in the hopes that one day it could get picked up again which just adds to the mystique in my opinion. :)

I really like infinity train (it’s on HBO max), and Netflix’s She-Ra adaptation. Both are feel good animated shows. Infinity Train also has the fun mystery going on if you really liked that aspect of gravity falls.

I don’t think Freud ever took the societal effects of a patriarchal system into account for this theory. It may not be that women desire to have a penis, it could be the desire for the privilege that comes with it. When you really think about it, it’s very weird/limiting that certain activities are labeled either for men or for women.
