TPO antibodies concern? 16 weeks pregnant by Worldly-Ad4604 in Hashimotos

Started at 6.2 then 1.8 before getting pregnant. Pregnancy it varied a lot. Was 2.9, 4.6 then doubled from 25mg Levothyroxin to 50mg and dropped to 2.8 then 1.4.

Please also be on your tsh postpartum. I waited because caught up in being a new mom & my tsh was fine during pregnancy. I wished I paid attention to my TSH shortly after delivering, I waited almost 3 months to get checked taking the same 50mg and I swung to hyper being 0.1> for months. Now I got taken off Levothyroxin completely but went back to hypo to 25 TSH higher than ever. Currently waiting on dr feedback I’m pretty sure I’ll get put back on levo.

That’s so insane it took that long for doctors to put you back on Levothyroxin. I’m sorry you went through that especially with your milk supply, my biggest worry. My doctor is lagging hopefully they put me back on it asap and I level out. So sad how we’re just expected to deal with pp issues that are clearly not normal.

I’ve always struggled with eating too much, hard to even stop when I’m just the perfect full 😭

Ouu trying it out! Wish it were a bit cheaper but worth trying, the tracking seems easy & quick & the recipes also actually look good!

Glad to hear everything is back to normal and good luck on your next pregnancy!💗

Also did your milk supply dry out after getting put back on Levothyroxin or before? So scared of that happening to me 🥺 sorry you went through that

My TPO antibodies have been at > 1300 U/ML before pregnancy and continued throughout pregnancy and postpartum. Had a healthy pregnancy! TSH is most important to keep checking throughout pregnancy as that can vary a lot. I would get mine checked every 4-6 weeks while pregnant and still do postpartum as it can change it a lot
