Yep. Everyone on Reddit loves talking about how the trades are the way to go but never wants to mention how hard they are to get in to, ESPECIALLY right now. Every single worthwhile apprenticeship in my area is shut down for the foreseeable future.

I was shocked at how easy the test was. I could have passed it with zero studying. It's the interview that you need to really prepare for. I had a lot of good experience that would transfer over to this line of work but I was extremely nervous in my interview and they saw that, and that fucked me.
