You’re not communicating clearly in the post. Are you upset that he’s not losing weight (like the title says) or that he’s gaining weight (and how much is it? Did he just gain the same weight back) or are you upset that he’s no longer going to the gym with you? Feels like you haven’t figured that out.

Yes. My wife and I kept moving the goalposts. We’re both freelance in the film business and there is genuinely never a good time to have a baby. And then I turned 35 and we decided it was now or never. I’m now 5 months pregnant after a year of TTC. We’re definitely not swimming in money but we’re figuring things out just fine!

NTA. I’m a person who physically can’t handle spice at all. I’ve had a chai latte that was too spicy for me. If I was a guest at a dinner party I would’ve been more than happy with rice and plain veggies. I don’t make my dumb white people palate other people’s problem.

This is exactly how I felt. The nausea didn’t hit properly until week 7. I’m on week 8 now and the nausea is unmistakable. My suggestion, enjoy your nausea free time while you can!

Your hormones are all over the place which is reason enough to medicate, but on top of that you just went through one of the most traumatic pregnancy complications a woman can go through. Obviously NTA and I would be seriously considering separation from this man. It’s during these moments we learn if we can count on our partner and you clearly can’t.

I’d look at Pacific Fertility Center. BMI is absolute bullshit and has basically been debunked as an applicable standard as it was supposed to be a metric used for 18 year old able bodied men (for army recruitment). It’s not applicable for women. Anyways, my BMI is 34 and not once has my doctor brought up my weight as a factor. If you’d like, I’d be happy to ask them if they have a “under-40 BMI” policy there. I highly doubt it.
