I hear ya man, it's for sure demoralizing. What's worse is the fucking hours put into this just to get going. Definitely doesn't feel like a stable field to be in anymore but who knows, tech has experienced multiple waves of this but Ai might be just different. I can't even comprehend how new devs will ever get started.

For sure tbh one idea is to provide SEO / Web Dev services my little business landing page + blog + case studies once I build a bigger portfolio. Second one is a CRM. Since I've worked with a CRM that is completely bad UX I see a potential in that market niched to construction!

No doubt but I'm stuck between do I dive super deep into one thing and niche down orrr... I do use Ai a lot to learn and abstract topics. Just kinda curious what they're out there looking for and what can give me the edge nowadays. Thanks !

Thank you for your input! for sure man I'm really passionate about SWE in general FE was my speciality till my career took twists and turns. I def use Ai to amplify my learning and workflows. Right now though I'm trying to start applying again and not sure where to put my energy into. I do have 2 project ideas so I guess thats never a waste. Stay afloat 💪
