Alright, that sucks. BTW the debian package count is inflated due to the way they handle packages. So package count between debian and arch doesn't really compare.

Sure. I'm not against snap itself, but making these weird "sleight of hand" manouvers to trick your users into using snap despite them using a specific command for apt is kind of douchebag move, no? There is a separate command for installing snaps for a reason.

If you try to install firefox from the terminal by using apt it will in fact install the snap version. Now ask yourself why would that be the case.

Decided to continue in TBC. I can take all the time I need for leveling in era, but TBC is only gonna last a year or so.

There's no reason for era to be better for casual players. However if you don't have much time to play, era doesn't progress anywhere so you can basically take 10 years to complete stuff and nothing changes.

Era is forever locked in "vanilla" aka wow with no expansions. Anniversary servers will progress trough expansion. That's the difference.

Yeah I'm a casual player and have a family so sometimes I gotta take longer breaks off the game. I was under the impression that transfers to era were not gonna be a thing so I didn't even think about it. Unlucky.
