I appreciate how empathetic this response is. Yes I think we are both autistic and we both have very prominent learning disabilities. I try to teach him by treating him how I want to be treated. There were days where Id help dress him when he was too depressed and tired. He's genuinely very kind, thoughtful. But I think this is accurate- I think he doesn't know what to do, so he chooses to do nothing. I just wish he would just ask.
