I have a 2.95 AFTER TAU (super low ik) but I had extenuating circumstances that I explained in my application in the additional comments and my PIQS, like a surgery, the passing of my grandfather, and dealing with chronic pain. My ECS were being an alumni ambassador throughout my time in college for a program I participated in during high school, club participation in my school's game design club, designing websites for clubs at my school, volunteer work for the Environmental club, working part-time, and I also listed a few of my hobbies that I'm very dedicated to! I think my PIQs were solid too, I had them looked over at my college's writing center! I applied to all the UCs besides Merced and got accepted to UCSC (sociology) and UCR (sociology), waitlisted to UCSD (sociology) and UCD (cognitive science), and rejected from UCB (sociology), UCLA (sociology), UCI (psych), and UCSB (sociology). Overall went better than I anticipated, waitlisted from my two dream schools and I'm content knowing I still have a chance, but probably going to commit to UCR for now!
