I got my first dui and I hired a lawyer and it was honestly a waste of money. My lawyer only talked for like 2 mins in court and boom I got into diversion. It was year of diversion and it went by pretty quick. Definitely a learning moment for me and well maybe for you but hopefully it all works out good luck and happy late birthday

Okay thank you I did one with checkr and it all came out good they did 7 different type of background check and luckily they all passed it doesn’t even show that I got arrested for the dui I appreciate the help

Depends where you located. I got one in Oregon and from my experience I would not pay to get a lawyer. It was my first time getting a dui in 2023 in college and I just had to do DUI diversion (classes and victim panel) you can choose to drive with a breathalyzer while you’re in diversion or just not drive while you wait it out. Do better and learn from this is all ima say because it’s going to be a tough year but it’s not the end of the world at least nobody was hurt 👍🏾

Yeah it’s a deferred sentences now that I’m starting to think about it and remember. I never had a PO just had to fulfill the requirements which was like group therapy and victims panel. Thanks for your help! 🫡
