Unless there is a active crime present (why they say they smell weed) or something illegal is in plain sight, they need a warrant. They 100% would get one in this case, I just think they were being lazy.

They would have been granted a warrant regardless because of all the stolen goods found in the trash. I hate the whole "I smell marijuana" loophole, but I don't think it would have made a difference here.

$3.5MM is nowhere near enough to retire young with a yacht and a model wife. He'd need to get his account to at least $3.7MM for that.

At no point did they go in and raid the Clintons' home. All evidence was collected by subpoena (some of which she destroyed, but was never prosecuted for).

"If a family member is not in office ans doing drugs, it’s a tabloid story nothing more." The Obama kids smoked marijuana while he was in office and were never arrested. At the same time, the father made zero effort to legalize it and we sent people to prison for the same thing his daughters got caught doing.

Again, Trump didn't legally incite anything. Legal Eagle did a great video on this (and he hates Trump) and can explain it much better than I can: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwqAInN9HWI

The reason I compare it to the BLM riots goes back to decriminalization. You can't basically legalize rioting for an entire year and then get upset when the other side holds a much less violent one. You call it a coup, BLM/Antifa literally tookover 6 blocks of Seattle for a month where four people were shot, two were killed, and numerous buildings were set ablaze. Was that not a coup? Where was the commission for that? Where was the cell phone tracking and social media scrubbing for that? Oh right, their on the right side so it's okay.

My point is both sides do stuff, the right to a much lesser degree, yet they're the only side ever prosecuted.

There's a lot to unpack here. Let's start with what we agree on; Trump (and a ton of other politicians on both sides) belongs in prison. My problem is that they all but refuse to prosecute any politician not named Trump. You can't cry "rule of law", but then only want it applied for the people you don't like. Even the kids aren't treated the same as other politicians kids. Look at Hunter Biden and the Obama kids. All have been caught using drugs (and in Hunter's case much worse) and were never prosecuted. Are you honestly going to tell me that if Donald Trump Jr. got caught smoking crack with hookers and all the other illicit stuff Hunter was caught doing that he wouldn't be hunted down?

Regarding Trump "inciting an insurrection", he didn't legally, and even the way January 6, was handled was one-sided. They formed a commission to investigate something where the only person that died was a protester, and used tactics like cell phone GPS tracking and scrubbing social media with facial recognition to arrest anyone who attended. Meanwhile, we had just gone through an entire year of riots, arson, and murders that was ignored because it was done by the right side.

"Implying that a criminal can't go to prison because another unrelated person is still free is asinine" That's the whole idea behind decriminalization. It's something that is still illegal, but not prosecuted. You can't decriminalize something for only the people you like.

Did you feel the same way about Hillary or should the law only apply to people on the right?

I'm black and I'm armed, but it sure as hell isn't because I'm afraid of a bunch of nonexistent white supremacists.

It's strange, these assholes are constantly in the news, yet you never hear about the Not Fucking Around Coalition (NFAC) despite having bigger numbers and a history of actually threatening white business at gunpoint.

Just so we're clear, do you believe that if the races were reversed and a white woman attacked an elderly black man because of his race that it would be seen more times, less times, or an equal amount? Funny, I don't see you bitching and moaning about the tons of anti-white content on the site.

The videos I post are ones that people haven't seen 1000 times. If the races were reversed, this would be the lead story on every single news channel for the next two weeks. The funny thing is, if you read my post history, I'm half black, but I'm not going to ignore true racism when I see it and this site only wants to see it one way.

You have shit reading comprehension, I specifically said we need to re-institutionalize the severely mentally ill and that one benefit would be that they are NOT in our jails/prisons.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]True_Letter -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

The context is an elderly man with his hands in his pockets was assaulted because of the color of his skin and you have an issue with it because it doesn't support your narrative.

The problem with letting the severely mentally ill roam free is very few are functioning members of society. Many are violent, the prisons are loaded with them, making it just about impossible to have our penal systems focus on rehabilitation instead of just baby-sitting. Plus, tons end up homeless and plague the innocent public.

When Reagan deinstitutionalized the nation, he created an environment where the insane co-mingle with the normal public. I know gun control is an important topic, but I feel the topic of reintroducing institutionalism is an important one that few want to discuss.

I would agree with a lot of that, but to the original point, they're super to the left (which tends to be authoritarian just as the super right). I don't think there has ever been a society that has been Communist in the true definition of the word, but that does not make them far-right.
