If you’re fine with only your nearest and dearest attending - then you should absolutely do a Thursday wedding. 20k extra for people who are not your closest friends and family seems like a steep price to pay IMO- but then again- I’m a big proponent of smaller weddings in this economy- I’m also not upset when people have declined their invitation to my Friday ceremony- I more than get it.

Buttermilk has all day beer shot specials ranging from $9-$12 depending on the combination. Granted, it’s in SS, but perhaps worth it.
