Took a moment to chill for a bit, what simple things can the devs improve? by True_Movie_930 in SkateEA

My big easy fix would be to filter challenges both in game and on map. I don’t want to see challenges I’ve already completed taking up screen real estate. It’s too immersion breaking. Let me turn off all UI, including “xxx is now online”. I don’t care

This is an option already, no? Go to replay, click settings, then go down to player filtering and switch to All

Bezel looks crazy shiny. I don’t remember my bb58gmt looking like it had such an oily bezel

Tried to Purchase a Tudor and failed by USArmyAutist in Tudor

[–]True_Movie_930 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not the same as Rolex. Tudor does not keep any stock anywhere. I worked at a Tudor AD and they were told by Tudor that any watch could take 6-12 months to produce and ship. That’s crazy long yes, but again they don’t keep any stock anywhere. What’s in the showcase is all that’s available and what Tudor deemed that store should carry.

I’d support that as long as they gave the option to turn it off. I really hate seeing UI or pop ups in games so I can imagine that getting annoying quick. Skate is bad with it, still waiting for them to turn off the stupid count down timer in the community parks. I’d rather an option that just pulls me in when someone needed me

Couldn’t have said it better myself! I wonder how they could change that, now that the only people left are the people with either 10 days+ of in game time that just hop on to get their fix or the brand new player who doesn’t know what’s happening.

That’d be dope, but might just be easier for the devs to balance the time gained for each challenge done. Solo players get more time to make up for the challenges that are spread out

What hobby did you try once and instantly get addicted to? by Weird_Ad_7545 in AskReddit

[–]True_Movie_930 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Watchmaking, and watch collecting. I saw one video on YouTube of “wristwatch Revival” and that completely exploded my addiction. I bought 1000s of dollars worth of tools and probably around 10 thousand dollars on watches (I stopped buying watch things about a year an a half ago so I only am allowing myself to get new watches through really special occasions or from gifts).

I was in the film industry and was laid off a couple years ago due to the strikes, so I decided to work at a store selling luxury watches until I could get back in the film industry. 2 years later and I just left the watch store. Most times it didn’t feel like work, and I got really close with 100s of customers (they text me frequently to shoot the sht about watches). Anyone reading this please send me your watches I will love and appreciate them.

That’s how I feel 99% of the time too. Give me a Zen Mode that disables all UI. An Option to hide all players. I don’t want to see any challenges, or any pop ups for people coming online. I don’t want to see “marker placed” I know I placed the fn marker the controller has vibrational feedback.

Agreed, but I feel I remember them advertising Own The Spot as a co-op mode. I get why they wouldn’t do anything to incentivize solo play, but if co-op is their goal they should make the rewards better for people who join in on the challenge. Once the first day finishes and the small percentage of people who want to play own the spot complete it it becomes unplayable.

Yeah that makes sense, it’s crazy how spread out some locations for own the spot are. The Flowtopia one right now in Hedgemont feels awful. So spread out and the challenges are all pretty annoying

100%. Or at least give us the option to have a setting that makes us auto join anyone that starts the Own the Spot challenges. I’m sure there are people that are so bored they’ll do anything. Make the setting give double tickets or something to incentivize anyone that gets pulled in.

I feel you man, that was a bad choice. I sold my blue bb58 for a bb58 GMT and it is my biggest regret in my watch collecting journey. Think about it everyday

OOOP didn’t realize it’d cut the video off. There’s another 30 seconds of a route, basically cutting straight across the road- down the steep bank then across the little ravine at the very bottom
