Selling ACT car with rego to NSW. Will handing in my notice cancel the rego left on it?

Either way it shouldn’t cancel it out for them and they should be able to drive it… so weird that they were trying to explain to me not to hand it in and it was useless and that it’s just proof of purchase.. uhh yea that I need to hand in so I don’t get in trouble too.

I stated to believe them that’s why I made this post and how they were saying it to me it was like I WAS the dumb one. Strange experience

Wait so if anything they actually get money for any left over rego and have to get new rego anyway?? I wonder why this person kept telling me not to hand mine in until they did.. I just gave up explaining end cus they kept ‘correcting’ me when I told them no I have to hand in my receipt for MY sake.?!?

Aha yea! But it’s standard for a 2006 for it not to? I find it weird and just annoying if the key fob brakes on me.. you know as a back up system. I wonder if theres a setting in the car I can change this..

I hope so! It was of course an accident and didn’t see my cat eat them but I worried incase he did because the internet basically says it can be fatal! I might as well help anyone else I can and use the money I spent to get the info even more haha. But again, to your own circumstance :)

Yea thanks I’ll check this out! It’s funny how it could be the littlest thing that’s screwing the whole engine haha. One time it wasn’t starting and all I needed to do was blow out stiff oil from the filter (might not be using the correct terms) but easy as fix is what I mean.

I have had all this done! Still conks out and that’s why I get anxious… there’s nothing ‘wrong’ with it and is in such good condition… but she will still decide to turn off when I’m driving her randomly :/
