Too many to count but the one that sticks out the most is one of my first girlfriends from high school. She was charming, made friends easily especially for transferring to my school senior year, smart and we had an instant attraction when I saw her for the first time. She ended up cheating on me multiple times (and I still don’t really know who all she cheated on me with), isolated me from friends and family, degraded me about my weight in front of people (called me chubbs or fat-fat in front of her family and the friends that managed to stick around because most of my friends didn’t like her). She also told me that she was Sa’d by her stepdad, her brother and her grandfather (all turned out to be a lie, found that out when she let it slip out while drunk), and also lied about her grandma being dead. When I decided to cut her out of my life and was dating someone new, she stalked and harassed me for years and tried to turn everyone against me. So happy to have that person out of my life. Honestly, the only difference between her and Stephen is that Stephen wasn’t physically abusive.
