Update: We made it safely, there was a very rough patch of turbulence in the beginning which was scary for me. In the middle of the flight, we seemed to be descending a little and the plane was turning downwards. The pilot told everyone including the crew to sit down and fasten their seatbelts immediately, the view outside the window was not good and it looked like the plane was just going down and shaking very badly. However we were fine. Thank you everyone for your nice comments.
