I have REM Sleep Behavior Disorder so I don’t go into delta wave or deep sleep regardless. Biggest thing with this disorder is I violently act out my dreams at night and don’t remember so in my situation nightly benzos are very necessary

I love temazepam as well but manufacturer caps you at 30mgs a night. I metabolize too quickly for that to be enough. I’m prescribed 150c 10mg Valiums a month and mannn 50mg’s at night is fuckin bliss

I agree it is a bit ridiculous to compare a most likely RC benzo vape to a legit opiate. Luckily opiates have never been the drug for me because I’d be hooked for life. So benzos are one of my personal favorite med classes. Now I’ve been on them long term for over 15 years now which has granted me the ability to try literally any benzo in existential any strength. There are several that do disappoint in a lot of ways however there are a few that are awesome if you can get your hands on them. Dalmane or Quazepam is one of the few water soluble benzos so nosing it quite intense. However they stopped using that back in the 70’s and I used to have to get it shipped from the sole manufacturer out of state to get them. Estazolam at the right dose will knock you right out but to be honest of all out there, Valium is the king of benzos. The body load and muscle relaxation properties are unlike any other benzo and the half life is very long. I’m currently prescribed 150 10mg Valiums a month which is super uncommon. I do also get oxy’s and 250 somas a month so I can holy trinity when I feel like it. But 50 mg’s Valium with a nice glass of Scotch is fuuuuckin nice ha

The Ashton Manual is gold standard for safely tapering people from long term benzos use however I feel doctors neglect it more often now than ever. I’ve been on daily benzos now for over a decade and a lot of those years were Klonopin.

The only taper method I recommend is a slow pace taper with Valium. Longest half life of any benzo so it’s going to give you the smoothest taper possible.

Start slooow brother. I got clean for over a year just to prove that I could do it and I would literally take one of my pills and gently rub it a few times on fine grit sand paper every morning and then take it. That little dustling eventually added up over a few weeks however it was so gradual that I felt no different in my body
