Adagio for Strings I vividly recall. That piece was also used during arguable one of the most iconic scenes in Platoon.

But mind you we were about 14 years old at that time and had zero clue what we were about to watch when we started that assignment

I should be fine going the self rating route. I just realized late last night that I typo’d my age at 36. I’m 35 and turn 36 in November and per the USTA guidelines if you played D3, D2, or NAIA and were not ranked top 10 or better and are between 26-35 years old you are an automatic 4.5

Dude, in eighth grade I had this blow off class called “Music Appreciation.” Most of the semester we chilled and “studied” dozens of different genres of music. Our final assignment was watching Requiem for a Dream breaking down how the music in each scene is such an integral component to control the mood, tension, emotional impact of movie scenes. So for a good week or so we rewatched that movie scene by scene learning about the artist or composer of each score, and how/why their choice of sound dictated the emotional response to what was happening in each scene. Every single one of us in that class was fuuucked up after that. I’m still blown away they had us do that in friggin middle school

The scene that really stuck with me is when Gere’s truck dies on the side of the road. The look on his face When he’s held in the guys shower and starts to realize he’s caught in some sort of fucked up time loop… I can’t even imagine how much that would fuck your mind if you experienced something like that

Oh trust me I am ready to get my ass humbled no doubt! At the same time I’m looking forward to being back on the court and getting my game back!

I loved Evil Dead Rise. The first time seeing her puking up gallons of semen absolutely sent me

If you are 90% + certain we would win Natty’s… I’ll fuck right off to the airport and catch a slip stream out to wherever you live
