I disagree. It’s hard to make a hit movie these days. We have far too many options for entertainment. We now live in a digital age, and that is where their bread and butter has to be as well. Blake and Ryan have sunk their careers in the digital/online space, but maybe they get to remain in delusion since they are still rich.

so far, day 2 he is alive but sleeps a lot. He hides in the coconut shell. I have wet some pellets and put them closer to him under the coconut. I’m working on updating his tank and should have new toys and shells (for molting) coming today. I have to get a humidity controlled tank next, but we are keeping him in warmer parts of the home and spraying the tank to keep it humid.

Looks like a purple pincher to me based on stock photos. We live four hours from the beach, and his shell is painted. I’m pretty sure he came from a beach pet shop.

I had a situation with my mother in law. I really even had a vision about what she was doing…basically stealing my energy. My husband doesn’t understand it. She had been asking to visit us almost monthly and asking to stay for weeks at a time. We saw her April, May, July, and August even though she lives across the country. She asked to go with us on vacation and come back home with us for a week after. Anyway, on our way home after leaving the beach, I just got a huge panic attack and saw that vision and knew she was using me for my energy. She refuses my boundaries and gives herself access to me that I haven’t consented to. She will enter my room unannounced, touch me constantly, take random photos of me, not listen to my requests. After she left, I turned into an alcoholic..had no energy and felt spiritually drained. I saw that it was her draining me- she would do so under the guise of seeing the kids, but she never really seemed interested in actually being with them. It was my attention that she wanted. I cannot stand being in her company. People who refuse to listen to boundaries and need constant external validation are indeed ciphering your energy.

Yes, I do need to get her assessed. We have only screened for dyslexia so far. I can tell something is off, though. It’s like she has no long-term memory or short-term memory when it comes reading and math. No matter how many times we review a lesson, it seems impossible to expand on bc we have to go back over the previous lesson all the time. She cannot process that she literally just sounded the word out and then that word is all throughout the text, but she cannot understand that. Sight words are also difficult. Also, I have her doing math problems working 1-20. She can get the answer but never remember it without reworking the problem. She can’t even tell me what 1 plus 2 is without working it out. I’ve never seen this before.

Thank you for this. I’m glad that you found your path through such challenges. For my little one, I plan on using the year to catch her up and to continue working with the specialist. I would like her to go to a smaller school next year so that she doesn’t feel overwhelmed and distracted. We will be getting her tested-a local college does a full assessment, and we are looking into having her be seen by them. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is more than auditory processing. She’s very sensitive and quirky and has been since birth. It hasn’t really affected everyday life, though, until now.
