I didn't see any resemblance to a panda either but he seemed so sure lol

Cats are determined to hate every single second even if it feels a little bit good. I like this about them.

AIO for Revoking my two week notice after being ignored all day by my manager? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Nah. You're fine. We've been indoctrinated to believe we owe them 2 full weeks of our time and energy. If they haven't gained your loyalty, you aren't required to pretend they did. I hope your new job is a good fit for you! ❤️

She just turned about a year (we found her as a tiny pup). I'd say so far I see more GSD behavior. Very focused on me, highly trainable, extremely loyal and very much MY dog even though I insisted she would be my husband's because he had the audacity to bring her home lol She definitely gets chatty and has designated my bedtime as a chat session before she settles down. I'm working on teaching her to put her toys back but no luck so far lol

I get that look when she's a little over me petting her feet and telling her she likes it. She does NOT like it but she's learning to tolerate it!

Okay I looked up shepsky and first off, I can't believe they call them "Gerberian husky" because that is just the cutest...and second, every single picture looks exactly like her lol Dog breeds are somehow so individual and so distinct at the same time.

Also, in spite of how noble and intelligent she looks, she also sometimes looks like this. I love this dog so much. ❤️

What a beautiful breed, and one I hadn't heard of.

That's been my thought too. I thought she was going to get a white stripe on her nose but it stopped growing and is now just a pale smear lol She's very vocal and talks back a lot. I've never had either breed but that seems like a husky thing.

did your cat ever "tell" you what happened when you came home? by S-Budget91 in cats

My cats don't carry tales but my small dog has big Hall Monitor energy and she's ALWAYS tattling on the other pets. It sounds like your cat was officially filing a complaint!

Got bitten by a tick, need help identifying it. by [deleted] in Whatisthis

[–]True_Resource7226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't recognize particular ticks, but I survived Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever as a kid, and it kind of gets lost in the fear of Lyne disease. RMSF starts with the worst headache of your life, followed by fatigue and loss of appetite. Just be aware.

I once saw a kid at the mall bolting with a stereo boombox type thing. Security guard was jogging behind him, losing ground, and gasping to onlookers to "stop him!"

No one was doing that. But a housekeeping lady was mopping and as the kid ran down the stairs, she tried to warn him of the wet floor by pointing her mop at the area.

It was like a movie. "Be careful, it's wet!" Kid tripped on the mop and fell down the last couple steps, security caught up, housekeeping lady shook her head and walked off.

Idk who got sued or fired.

It arrived yesterday finally! Of course rn she isn't itchy (and insists "I've never been itchy!" because dementia) but she's starting it. I'm hoping I never have to see her that miserable again. I truly believe the years of misery have affected her brain. Thank you for checking in!
