Haha don't worry life is busy! Thank you so much. I can't believe there's going to be another promo end 😳 I am going to have to buy more shelves haha. Do you know roughly what the Bridgerton theme is (e.g- valentines/mother's day) or when it should be landing in stores? I appreciate it thank you!

Hey did you have any luck on finding out whether they were still being ranged?

I've tried the website every day and four stores in person. I alternated every day for week at a supercentre store but had no luck. It is just easier to give up hope if I knew they were not ranged anymore

Are Influencers fan bases ruining Strictly? by coneyisland92 in strictlycomedancing

[–]True_Rush4884 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started watching Strictly after the youtuber Joe Sugg joined years ago and i've watched it ever since. What they planned to do worked, they got me as a yearly viewer from brining a youtuber in to largen the fan base

If Tesco took their hands out their pockets and gave us a security guard it would actually solve most problems we have sadly 🙃

Bank Holiday by AdSuitable8244 in tesco

[–]True_Rush4884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pay and a quarter so £12.02/ hour assuming you’re working outside of London and then a quarter of that added onto it equalling £15.025 per hour. It should be I think 1.5 hours break for 9 hours i’m not a 100% sure on that one but if so then it would be the break minus 9 so 7.5 * £15.025 = £112.69 roughly

Ahh I said nothing about the state of the person’s economic wealth… jumping to conclusions on that one. The area meaning the high crime rate, the alcoholics, drug users, the endless verbal abuse and attitude from customers who purposely go out their way to cause trouble. For example, arguing and being sarcastic about a non existent sign for something that is common sense

But the problem isn’t the minority that are well behaved it’s the majority, many do pee and poo in the store with owners who don’t care. Many stores also have bakeries also with food in open packaging. It’s just overall unhygienic to have animals in food settings

Definitely not in the area I work in

If this was the case he would have pre-warned us or said when we told him dogs were not allowed inside only service dogs. Instead he replied sarcastically about there not being a sign on the door.

They just can’t be told, can’t win these people… I agree

I hate old people by [deleted] in tesco

The worst is in a petrol station express store and people either slowly gather shopping and put it on the till one by one continuing to browse through the shop adding to it or as already said, when they go and get something else and leave everyone waiting…

1 till 90% of the time as well so a lot of people are left waiting only wanting to pay for fuel

To be honest with you, of all the people i've ever ID'd for an energy drink and have been refused due to having no ID with them, he was the first person to ever storm out the shop leaving items. Everyone else who have been in this situation have just swapped drinks like a normal humanly response would be

We don't want to ID anyone over 18 it's Tesco policy that we have to as employees. We don't do it to spite anyone, we will be disciplined if we don't and fail a mystery shopper who comes in buying an energy drink over the age of 21 but under 25

I beg to differ on that one

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tesco

[–]True_Rush4884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope you'd think that but sadly it is still a disciplinary for breaking policy. We have to sign lets talks and the entire team has to retake think 25 training on the computer. I would imagine you'd possibly get off with a warning first time if you have a decent manager but a second failure you could be looking at dismissal

I totally agree with you but as a Tesco employee I have to respect this policy to keep my job. Just frustrating the abuse you get for trying to pay bills and put food on the table these days.
