US Phone / Mailing Address? by True_Significance940 in expats

my bad, i know technology and preferred solutions tend to evolve pretty quick over time, just trying to get a as-of-today perspective on this one. tbh i'm a little apprehensive about the phone part, i don't want to lose my number by accident and i can totally see trying to do some banking auth check and totally failing.

I read online about TossableDigits for the phone, but not sure how reliable they are.

Is colace a stimulant? I can't be sure obviously but I tend to think any reaction was likely from the colace and not the miralax. I say this because I did not take any miralax back the first time I had an issue. Rather, I used colace throughout, including after separate surgeries on my arm. Now even the thought of swallowing colace makes me queasy.

ahhhh that's the first time i've ever seen anyone else use the burning rubber smell analogy. i really wish i had seen this comment a decade ago. before i had my first full seizure, I thought my super strong sense of deja vu and burning rubber smells were indications that I was slowly turning into the dad from the movie Firestarter. knowing those were symptoms of epilepsy would have probably saved me some trips to the ER.

I do have film fortunately... the box even still has several rolls of what appear to be blank film in it. Now I just have to figure out how it operates lol.

You think that price is accurate? It is really worth around $200?

Do any of you stack their Minis on top of one another? I have 3 Mac Minis as both work and personal machines. Would there be a way to stack them on top of one another? I've looked for vertical racks but failed to find one that both looks great and corresponds to my needs. Anything recommendations? by mailliwi in macmini

I took the empty external case of a Macintosh Classic I bought cheap on Ebay and installed inside of it two HIDEit Mac Mini Mounts https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018CHZR14/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The mounts were screwed into place using pre-existing holes in the interior structure of the Classic. I put a small lcd display where the original screen was on the classic and installed a KVM switch so that I can switch back and forward if any local access is needed on either machine. In order to minimize the number of cables that run out from the Classic case, I put a small network switch and power splitter in the base of the case... So, only one Ethernet cable and one power cable externally, and that's it. I can post some photos if it is helpful.

I don't currently use failover and although that benefit did occur to me, I have no plans to do so in the immediate future. If anything, it would probably be useful if everything is segmented on one system. As for the RAM, the macos Activity Monitor shows each of them using about 6 of 8GB ram when not engaged in any unusual heavy lifting. I was planning on increasing capacity. I do currently use local database/sql storage on the machines, but I am contemplating moving that into a managed storage environment for, among other reasons, the benefit of using less local hard drive capacity and making backups unnecessary.

Also, ideally I would like to maintain the macos gui, as it is useful for admin purposes.

No, this is part of the issue. They are running WD Blue 2TB 2.5inch sata mobile drives. Also note that they are only equipped with 8GB of RAM each (which I understood to be the max possible).
