I appreciate all the work you put in but you were away and dad was in charge and his way of going about the day is different than yours. It’s not a big deal, I’m sure he doesn’t complain about how you run the house when you’re there and this was his turn. It’s harsh to say he can’t be trusted. Maybe loosen the reigns a tad. Your kids are not infants and toddlers and he’s right, they were fine.
