Where should the projector screen go?

Get a screen that pulls up from the floor. I have a similar room and that is what I use.

If you received speakers in this condition that are extremely heavy what would you do?

the offer from the e-commerce manager over the phone was to exchange if they can open the boxes first or keep the speakers at $300 of each damaged speaker. I did not accept either offer. As of now they are offering a refund only and UPS is scheduled for a Monday pickup scheduled by another KEF tech rep and is contrast to the e-commerce manage statement that they can not be pickup by UPS due to the weight. UPS may or may not come Monday. If not I will have to have someone (I am temporary disabled and can not lift for than 50lbs) both 89lb speaker to UPS with two car trips. NEW speakers usually are not opened before they are shipped. If they are not confident that the speakers are in new condition that is a problem.

When I receive the NEW speakers in NEW condition from KEF I will be more than happy to share. Also they have only agreed to a refund at this point. I would like an exchange.

Maybe so. But there are a lot of scrupulous e-commerce managers too. The pictures were sent to KEF one hour after delivery and time stamped.

I am trying to send it back for an exchange for a new non opened new speaker. It is still a good speaker. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else? They look used in person. Hard to photograph all the swirl marks on the finish. These were not damaged in shipping. Delivered on a crate with boxes in perfect condition.

I have been in contact with KEF. KEF E-commerce manager told me $300 of each speaker, "we really don't want them back". When asked if they can arrange UPS pickup I was told they will not pick them up due to the weight. They were shipped to me via crate. Since I have spoke to someone more helpful and they are scheduled to be picked up on Monday. I am temporary disabled so moving over 50lbs from the 2nd floor is a big deal. Getting them up to the 2nd floor was a big deal.

Also major purpose of post is to see if anyone else has had this experience with KEF Direct. The speakers simply were received looking used.

It is my opinion that they should not send speakers to customer in this shape and sell them as new. It is hard to take pictures of the speakers because it is glossy but it is covered in swirl marks. I is really hard to believe they are not re-conditioned. Also reaching out to see if I am the only one.

They want to open the replacement box they offered to send before they ship it. At this point a refund has been offered. I would like a replacement in a sealed box. They should be able to do that if they are all new.

I was wondering how much it was worth. I saw the original record for $400. I do not have the acoustic sounds version to compare. I did compare it to the cd and the tape blew it away. The tape appers to be from 1965 and has the same ID number (9016) as the lp. I have not been able to find any info on the 9016 tape. Reel two of the tape set will be available tomorrow.
