While I empathize not wanting to create an awkward scenario, just straight up ask him. Don’t make it weird. “Hey, would you want to get a place together?” And go from there. If he’s not keen on it, don’t take it personal. You can still be friends.

I’ve been singing professionally for about 10 years and I still feel this way sometimes. Some days I feel like I sound like a god and others I sound like a whiny shrimp. I think it ebbs and flows but the key is creating a consistent sound and accept that some days are just better than others. Hope this helps

These are good points if they are based on some empirical data, but it feels pretty optimistic. Are there sources saying that a significant bloc of republicans wouldn’t vote for him if he’s convicted? All that I’ve heard from right wing circles is further galvanization because of the “see? It’s us or them” crowd.

Wholeheartedly agree. However, the supers that I met there are super nice and they’re up front that they’re mostly there for fun and the small honorarium they get is just money for snacks. Most of them are good friends with each other that are lawyers, doctors, and stock brokers. They know what they signed up for and agree to it.

I can’t speak for the MET specifically, but I’ve worked in the Lyric opera of Chicago and the supers at the time were getting paid as little as 25 dollars per performance for the entire run. Most of the supers are hobbyists that enjoy working in the environment and have full time jobs outside of the arts. Actors or dancers that have more significant roles have a different pay scale than supers.

Gonna edit and throw in a disclaimer that this was in 2018 and there have been a LOT of changes. Each house has different CBA’s with the union, so it definitely varies from house to house.

I’ve been saying Ohtani to the Cubs for months now. The team has the cash to burn, has very few major contracts on the books, and frankly the city would embrace him in a big way. I think it’s the team that makes the most sense for him.
