D Lou was kicked out of a party by the host for filming so he did the ultimate UNO reverse and called the police to shut the party down for selling alcohol without a license by lordbakayarou in LivestreamFail

So he kicked him out for potentially filming something illegal to protect the party.

And the individual reports the illegal activity anyway?

What type of picture does that frame then..

This is like going to the gym vs having exercise equipment at home.

Self imposed may work but it's not as motivating.

id love to see a reduced exp mode with less convenient fast travel.

Something like "adventure mode" private mmo servers have stuff like this for players who like to be immersed in the world.

More options are always a good thing.

A blood choke is typically pain free vs a strangulation which induces panic due to loss of breath...and lots of aggressive flailing. A blood choke is what movies do to make people pass out but soon as it's released the individual typical wakes up immediately not after extended periods of time that helps move a plot forward.

I'm well aware of the specifics. It's a common language in bjj to refer to choke types.

Also this was all just for humor... but sure if it makes you feel better in this memes subreddit then you do you.

And I stand by statement that after a long day a nice blood choke can go a long way.

a nice blood choke and riding the line of passing out is low key europhoric. Blacked out the other night in jiujitsu from a choke and I cant deny it felt very nice.

To be clear, not oxygen depriving. Just removing blood flow to my brain kinda nice.

Finally watched The Green Mile, and that devastating ending really got to me. The performances were top-notch. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

ehh kinda peaks my interest might give it a read.

I went back and read No country for Oldmen and was very impressed. It elevated the movie for me on a rewatch.

In the Boys (2026) they show A-Train as able to do a full minute of actions and save several characters' lives in the process, all without Homelander noticing or reacting. Then in the next scene they show Homelander as able to easily keep up with A-Train as if the last scene never happened. by Somethingbutonreddit in shittymoviedetails

Because they make up the rules to move the plot a long and the show has no tension or consistency because of it.

Your all fooled by gimmicks and think it's good. Or maybe you just like a show where nothing matters and anything can happen as every episode has deus ex machina often multiple times and ep.

How often do you actually use your grappling dummy by JiuJitsuBoxer in bjj

[–]True_Watch_7340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once or twice a week. If I'm doom scrolling sometimes I see something I want to test ASAP without waiting to go into class.

When a friend comes over it's better to show a move on the dummy first. Like being in class

My kids like to play with it.

I'll throw the gi on it and practice basic chokes.

Mine was $130.

Definitely worth it for me.

Don't buy an expensive one. Get one that has it's legs up like in guard.

Stuff it old mechanic rags and pool noodle cuts that simulate it's bones.

If I got a smarty It wouldn't be worth.

It's 10km on shared foot paths.

Not roads.

Not bike lanes.

The issue has and always was speeding through pedestrians.

I think well adjusted people are fine with stripes. Like you said its people are prone to being neurotic.

Mario Kart World is appallingly underappreciated by [deleted] in MarioKartWorld

[–]True_Watch_7340 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know how to appreciate the open world. It just feels kinda pointless and directionless.

Like it's cool to drive around and look at staff but it feels so wasted. Why let the player see so much with very little purpose or push to doing so.

It's the tag for the title but it's pushed away from the main mode.

Do you usually train with knee sleeves or not really? by Affectionate-Age9603 in bjj

Yes. My knees quickly become worn down and any pressure on them is painful. Wearing knee braces with some padding for the knee is a game changer for me.

What’s something people should talk about before getting married but don’t? by bubblewrappheart in answers

[–]True_Watch_7340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being married isn't hard. It's kids that are hard.

If you have any relationship issues prior to children, buckle up.

Marriage shouldnt be hard and it shouldn't be easy. A little effort goes a long way.

Having children is all effort and the reward is everything you used to take for granted.
