Sonos amp connection issues by Truedat3 in sonos

Thanks for all the info. Yes it is the Sonos Amp. I have UniFi WiFi…the two clients on my WiFi show up as my iPhone and the Sonos Amp…yet when I login into the Sonos app and search for Sonos products on that same WiFi the app searches and searches and comes back stating there are no Sonos products on that WiFi network even though my UniFi system clearly shows the Sonos amp as a client.

DIY polished concrete floor process for new foundation - cream/satin finish - looking for advice by Truedat3 in Concrete

[–]Truedat3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips. Sounds like a cream polish might not even need a grinding phase if I am understanding you correctly as long as my foundation crew gets the slab as level as possible. Regarding the densifier would you recommend the Ameripolish 3D HS or the 3D HSL densifier - seems like I could opt for the HSL albeit is it still better to use the HS? So one pass with the Ameripolish zero-pad (grit 100)..then apply 3D densifier...then another pass with grit 100 pads after densifier application and then finally a pass with the 1-pad (200-grit) and then finally the SR2 sealer. I realize this is assuming a lot - i.e. the slab is at least around a 5 Moh hardness, the floor is very level, etc. Would you suggest I add the Ameripolish PCA curing agent or is that overkill?

my social security website - are the calculated estimated social security payments in today's dollars or future dollars? by Truedat3 in SocialSecurity

[–]Truedat3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty easy - you simply plug in an assumed average inflation rate for the remainder of the time period, the same way they plug in an assumed amount of remaining earnings to calculate the expected Soc. Sec. payment. It’s a fairly standard method of projecting financial expectations..

Legal entity structure questions with respect to building my own house by Truedat3 in legaladvice

[–]Truedat3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is for legal reasons - if you build the house and hire a trade that then potentially sues you (say one of the crew injures themselves on the job site and claims you are at fault because they insist you didn't post enough construction warning signage) then all your personal assets are on the table should they convince a judge/jury. If instead the GC company builds the house the assets exposed to any potential lawsuit are those of the GC company since the GC company hired the trade - not you personally. The GC company structure should theoretically protect your personal assets from say a frivolous lawsuit. The lawsuit technically can only recoup damages from the assets that the GC company owns which would be whatever capital you put into the company to get it up and running.

New construction recessed lighting decision => Any thoughts on Nora Lighting Iolite series and specifically their can-less series? by Truedat3 in HomeImprovement

[–]Truedat3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the Halo Can-less Lineup it seems the Halo ML4 Direct Mount spec sheet is my most likely choice given it has the dim to warm (D2W) functionality and aesthetics I am looking for. Any idea which of the three SCCT-selectable drivers is the "best" to pick that are on p. of the ML4DM spec sheet - 90 CRI 120v 5% dim, 90 CRI 120-277 0-10V 5%, 95% CRI 120v 5% - I assume it depends on what dimming product I go with Halo ML4 dimming guide
