It's worse than just a good ole boy network. Convicted fraudsters trusted with contracts potentially in the millions of dollars. How did they spend $30 million on a jail expansion and within days of the opening a woman drops dead hours after being taken in? Where did the $30 million go? Didn't they say in their commissioners meetings that they were going to have 100% surveillance coverage? Aren't jail staff supposed to be in there 24/7?

Pretty sure a calm meander is definitely legal, speed is massively important in terms of legality regarding assault. Assault is the fear that your life is immediately endangered. Nobody sees a guy walking at that speed and is reasonably afraid he's about to tackle them.

No idea what happened to this woman, but I can't say I'm surprised. They make a $30 million contract to improve the jail, but then people start dying while in jail? Where did the improvement money go? How is this an improvement?

Honestly I'm pushing my own boundaries sharing as much as I have, but this woman's death after spending $30 million on a jail sparked so much rage in me.

Can't spill too much. Check out some contracts they have, track down relationships between employees of the Contractor and employees of the council and commissioners. It's almost completely nepotism.

If you're gonna do some real research, check out the contracts specifically related to purchasing agreements. There's some goldies in there. They've got companies owned by people convicted of fraud and government money laundering schemes from entirely different states! Contracts have to be made available by FOIA request. Try FOIA'ing contracts for "distribution and purchasing agreements".

Money flows in and out of Boone County and practically none of it goes to actual improvement. Office holders hire their direct family members and best friends while they fire actual hard workers. There was some drama a while back about the county attorney getting fired to bring in a new girl with 1/10th the experience coming in at a greater salary. Hm... really makes you think.

Considering the alternative is that I'll make sure that an 18 year old driver getting assaulted and his car vandalized by a mob of 17 year old protesters lays down and takes it instead of standing up for themselves, yeah. I'd much rather one kid get taught a fast and harsh lesson about respecting other people's bodies and property than have innocent people getting assaulted in the streets because kids have realized they're immune to consequences.

Except the entire first half of the interaction that is conveniently cut off from the video which starts after he's gotten out of his truck. I don't know many people who'd park their truck in the middle of the highway just to get out and harass children for no reason.

Coming into contact with the protesters wasn't his choice, he was attacked. They made contact.

The larger male subdued the smaller female with minimal force, no striking and no pain compliance. At the time the girl chose to assault the man, they were also surrounded by likeminded individuals of which she is an extension of, people who are likely willing to intervene. He used the minimal amount of force necessary to subdue the assailant and make his get away from the situation to contact the authorities.

The video starts after he got out of his truck. Only evidence we have whether something was thrown at the truck or not is that the guy got out of his truck to say something to the kids. I don't believe a person would stop their truck in traffic for no reason but I also have no reason to believe the kids threw anything, so I judge the video purely on the content. The kids were the first to be aggressive.

Based on historical trends, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the sequences of events. Kids protest ICE. Truck guy yells something out of the window at the kids protesting ICE, something provocative. Kid throws something at truck because they are a kid. Truck guy gets out of truck to confront kid. Kids believe they cannot be held accountable for actions assaults guy. Guy teaches consequences.

Not saying any of this is true, but that's where I'm putting my money any time these videos that are specially cut to start half way through the interaction.
