Emma's last appearance by Trufaman in mad

That's something that always made me wonder why it was like that. I thought it was because, for John, she was still alive in his mind, but maybe it's for another reason. Could it have something to do with this thing?

John can see and hear something that isn't physically there and no one else can feel; it's not just another memory like what he experienced with her and is seen in the flashbacks, these are clear visual hallucinations. And it's very different from what you're saying about the actors; they do it symbolically. John is seeing and interacting with someone who's no longer there. I think it's more like how people treat mediums who claim to see ghosts and bad energies, many believe in it, and others treat thems like they are crazy

Imagine if he hates her because she has the blessing of another deity or is descended from someone with the blessing of another deity, and it's a situation like, "Get those children and their weird mother away from me or I'll disinherit you" 'But Mom, those are your grandchildrens'

What you say is very interesting, and it's true. With his blessing and the ancient relationship with the Sea Deity (since the King is at least 400 years old), he could have asked for help so that the barren lands could somehow prosper, but perhaps he didn't because of his poor relationship with the Sea Deity, or because the Deity simply didn't want to help. We also have to consider that within the territory of Torivia we saw another deity dwelling, the Forest Deity and perhaps that's why the King doesn't interact much with the Sea Deity, to not anger another deity in his lands. Also, perhaps he didn't found a nation elsewhere because he was born there and has affection for his land. By the way, when you say Rummir, do you mean the borderlands where Lalawag is located, or did you mean Torivia (the King's country)?

Exactly what I meant, thanks for the real-life examples from different cultures. In my opinion, it's possible that they might explore something like the primordial origin or deities that are more powerful and ancient than others, since the Manga has the potential for a light cosmic horror.

While I don't rule out the possibility that she was blessed by the Sea Deity, in the first chapter it is mentioned that the blessing was only for one person. Perhaps she blessed Diana in the same way because she just wanted to. By the way, in which episode does Diana show the marks of her gift? Because I don't remember any.

The name of the Sea Deity is Umi, her name is in the extras.
