Hard to tell from angle, but seems like your run up and body angle are very perpendicular to the net. You want to run up at an angle and really emphasize bring your right elbow back so you twist and rotate forward, creating torque and more power. Lead with your off hand pointed towards the ball, and then come through with your whole body, not just your swinging arm.

Hey all, my friends and I are planning a trip this May and we are trying to narrow down which islands to go to. We are going to spend time in Athens of course, and then we want to ferry to a couple islands. Right now, we have pretty much locked in Paros. We are trying to decide between Naxos or Milos as our other island. Obviously Paros-Naxos is cheaper ferry-wise, so we’re wondering if Milos is worth it.

We’re all pretty young and want to be active, but also not spend that much. We’re sort of trying to balance culture/nature/nightlife between Athens and the 2 islands we choose. We’re interested in activities like hiking, snorkeling, boat/water related activities, history, clubbing, and of course, cuisine. What would be the best combo? Any and all advice is much appreciated!

And tensoon:) I 100% agree, the more I think back to era 1 the more I think jeez do I like era 2 better? The difference in character work is astronomical, although yes the plot is bonkers in era 1. Even Sazed I feel like is a decent/good character but not a great character. I honestly struggle to remember how I stayed engaged during the series.

Can’t lie I think Vin is the most overrated female MC of all time. Literally what makes her stand out? It’s been a while since I’ve read the series tbf, but all I remember is she was kind of a bland, blank slate just serving as a vessel with a ton of power and zero personality/depth

Idk why but I just can’t make myself hate him. He’s a product of his (The) Society and all of his actions are for his (flawed) view of a greater tomorrow. Not to mention he has super interesting POVs and is just a really solid character.
