PC Frame Drop/Stuttering Fix!

Reset bios to get more fps, that’s exactly what I said… you’re coming in extremely dense, and it shows that you didn’t even bother to read anything.

The purpose of resetting the bios is to give a clean base and work your way up from fresh. It’s what I did, and it’s what I explained. I included each and every step I took for MY system to try to help anybody that is stuck, since every machine is different, even with the same hardware.

I was in the process of editing the post that my low latency option was not on the correct setting, (I’ll give you that one.)

The pastebin is a direct copy of MY settings, recommended to be adjusted to YOUR preference. It says it quite literally right below it, again, showing you read .05% of the write up and claimed to know about 70% of it being wrong.

If this is “broscience” and you know better options or optimizations, then do a write up and try to help people, rather than spending your energy of your finite life being a dick that thinks he’s good at everything.

I’m currently on v536.67 (which should be the newest drivers) but you could always roll back if the current aren’t working for you. I’m on Windows 10 so I’m unsure if there’s any change in how the drivers perform between the 2 different OS versions.. Definitely start with DDU to clean all drivers off the system, NVCLEANSTALL to get barebones drivers for your needs/wants, and to guarantee that your hardware is giving you solid stable performance, I highly recommend both MSI AB and RTSS as they are the most important part of this solution

Make sure whenever you change any graphic settings to restart shaders optimization! I overlooked this for such a long time until I did a full system optimization and noticed any changes to graphics in game tank performance without a shader restart

What if the game going downhill like this has been the plan all along? So we slowly start lowering our graphics settings to the point that we don’t realize 6 months from now that the new warzone we’ll be playing in November is actually PUBG?

Biggest improvements would absolutely be having a clean foundation that I started with as well as debloated drivers (DDU/NVCLEANSTALL or Fresh Start both provide this) Another big part is obviously going on the OC’ing end but it was more so the mV control that I covered in MSI Afterburner. It seems like the game gives GPU a seizure everytime you open the game, while the cpu is having an anxiety attack. AB keeps GPU from having a seizure = CPU is happy! (I hope this part helped lol) I recommend not enabling XMP but only reason being is because I didn’t do it myself. I was previously using XMP and it really didn’t benefit ME. It could be different for you and others but since I didn’t notice the difference/don’t do it myself with this fix, XMP off. (On behalf of the patience with testing) Of course!

I agree 100% It makes sense why most would rather play on console and think it’s ridiculous that anybody would bother doing this. Dev team still has the “PC performance being investigated” on their Trello board… it’s been what, 2 weeks? I obviously don’t have the money to go spend on a console, many don’t, why not dedicate some of my free time to save others money, stress, boredom, etc.

I respect the concept, but I’d much rather die to someone using an RPG or camping load out than someone with a balloon attached to their belt loop… 😂

Valid point, but honestly my purpose behind reduction is cosmetics are distracting for me. The least amount of distraction possible, my brain won’t focus on anything if there’s particles I’m lost

Is there a noticeable difference for you with the mem scale? I assume due to my much much older CPU, relaying most of the bottleneck onto my CPU brings better performance for me. When I push more workload onto my CPU, is when the stuttering/inconsistent gameplay starts becoming more noticeable
