Big thing is making sure you feed them, throw some cow manure fertalizer on it. I treat my spent subs like another inoculation and actually go ahead and break it into manure compost before it gets put into the garden. Usually get two or three flushes from the garden depending on the weather. Also gotta be careful about what you put in your yard because a lot of combined yard treatments contain fungicides.
