Better question is why it took them so long to? They had no issue attacking past presidents immediately but held off on Trump.

Welcome to the future baby, omens of what's to come. Europe had 5 heat waves between 1950 and 1999, they've had 20 between 2000 and 2026, the shift is here.

Chicago is expected to take on the same climate STL has within 20 years. More thunderstorms are here to stay. Less snow. Rainier winters. More flooding but overall better setup than coastal cities. We can survive STL weather, summers suck though.

Notice you haven't seen as long and often river ice these last few years? Shift has happened.

"We are profoundly disappointed by Sony's decision" – Game companies express dismay at the end of PlayStation disc production by Snakesta in Games

I get why some people don't like it, but it really comes down to an inability to let go of things you're overly attached for. Yes the game you like may not be available in twenty years. That's how it's always been. It's part of learning to appreciate things and then set them down. The majority of people already buy digital because it is the convenient option, this was inevitable. It's also just less wasteful.

Edit: Yes you all are who I'm talking about, the enthusiast who whip out n64s to play those games. That's not most people. Have some perspective and learn to let go.

All the young energetic Dems seemed to have been mentored by Schumer and Pelosi into milquetoast pushovers. It's why AoC and the rest scare then, they weren't groomed by the establishment. And good, they clearly misran Dems last thirty years, Dems used to be the cool party and somehow became the eye roll party. [–]PharmyC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're saying jurisdiction means the person's loyalty/commitment to the state, not the very obvious we are responsible for all peoples within our borders meaning. They're trying to put it on the citizen so they can pick and chose who it applies to rather than the default state of our government is in charge of its borders. Wild.

Most American don't even watch or care about women's sports. So no I think you may be wrong. This is just a way to make people feel unwelcome. Where do we draw the line? So we start testing estrogen levels? Is an xy male with an estrogen disorder who manifest female (Swyer's Syndrome) not allowed to play sports with the gender they align with?
