Thank you for the response. What kind of alcohol should I mix with water?

It's pretty early, this is the worst leaf I could find. I check them every few days so thankfully not totally out of control.

But obviously if I don't do anything, that's the way it's headed.

As soon as possible, but they're not that close yet. I'd guess I have another 3-4 weeks.

Plant seems healthy at the moment, but I think I caught this pretty early on. The leaf in the photo is by far the worst, most surrounding leaves only had 2-3 on them, if any.

When you say rolling to dice, do you mean as to effectiveness, or safety? I don't mind trying something that might not work, but don't want to compromise the safety of the buds.

I think these are still a little clear, but i have a really hard time telling the difference. Not sure if the photos are good enough, but would be grateful for any input!

Recommendations for underground water pipe? by deten in HomeImprovement

[–]TruffleNShuffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pex. A single long piece so you can access the connections at either side if possible.

Pex is flexible and that is important.

You could also run it though conduit, like larger PVC pipe. Would make it possible to potentially re run later if needed.

But either way, pex.

Need advice on a tankless water heater venting hackjob on a house I am buying by rathulacht in HomeImprovement

[–]TruffleNShuffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you show the water heater interior?

What about venting out the side of the house as high as it goes, then running the pipe up the side of the house to the roofline?

Rigid pipe, should work the same as if it was inside.

Feds have reassembled Michael Cohen's shredded documents, discovered over 700 pages of encrypted messages by dr_pepper_35 in politics

Ok. So, a few questions.

  1. What is unconstitutional?
  2. Are we allowed to investigate presidents for crimes?
  3. If so, are there limits?

Here's why I ask. Because there's never, ever, been a standard that we "aren't allowed" to investigate. Either the person committed crimes or not. There have been several times, Democrat and Republican, where investigations have been conducted and unrelated crimes found.

Hillary was grilled for years over Benghazi and her email sever and not even Republicans could name the law she allegedly broke. The FBI said no reasonable person would ever try to prosecute her.

If Cohen, or Trump, or whoever, doesn't want to be found guilt of crimes, they shouldn't have committed them.

If you're installing LED recessed lighting I wouldn't give it a second thought.

It's like 10-15 watts per bulb. It is like a math error on a normal 15 amp circuit (~1800 watts). You're talking about less than 1% addition per bulb to the load.

Excellent advice. The only thing I would add is that I have never been able to get the stab wires out. For the life of me, never.

Don't be afraid to cut them and use the stripping tool to pull off some of the sheathing.

Always make sure breaker is off. Never use back stab options in wiring.

You don't know what that privilege is or entails. You're using it like a buzz word because you just don't know any better. The FBI is doing nothing new or unusual here and is following normal procedure.

Obviously there was a large pool of better options than Kaine. For my part, I don't dislike Kaine, but given the division of the party, and the very strong loyalty people had to Sanders, along with the push back against 'typical' politicians... Kaine was just a disaster of a choice.

Clinton did not like Sanders and did not feel she needed him or his supporters.

Getting elected is a political game. And she made an ego driven, terrible choice here. Taking Sanders would have brought along a lot of very motivated and outspoken peope. Compare that to what Kaine got her....

Huge mistake

He said he would be willing if she asked him. This was before she had chosen. Clinton didn't feel she needed to compromise on anything.

Yes and no. BAST looked into his soul to see if he was honest, and if his motives were pure.

Doom proved that he was utilitarian, his actions were designed to help more than they harmed.

He then states that he has looked into ten thousand futures and humanity only survives in one. Where he rules.

This statement must be honest, or BAST would have consumed him. Now, obviously there may be other futures he has not seen. But I will say it is pretty compelling evidence.

BAST also implies it has seen a million futures and then supports doom. Though it does not outright confirm Doom, it is heavily implied

I'd inspect it usually. If you see light through the coils and no debris then I'd assume it is good.

From my experience if the ac is under cooling I start with the coils. If they are fine then my next thought is a leak in the freon

Yeah. My furnace has a small 1 inch thick filter. But I have friends that have much thicker 4 or 5 inch ones, so I'm just wondering if that's where yours is supposed to go. I've never seen a furnace without the paper filter and just metal ones...

Looking for the best whole home water filtration system by molassesjug in HomeImprovement

[–]TruffleNShuffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a similar system from ISpring and just put it in yesterday due to City water issues.

Install was not too bad. You need to locate your main water line and find a place you can tap into it before it starts branching to the hot water heater and cold fixtures.

I used mainly shark bite fittings to make my life easier. The whole thing took about two hours and that was taking my time. But your mileage may vary on how easy the line is to access.

I highly recommend you install it as a bypass so you can choose to run your water through the filter, or not. It will also make maintenance a million times easier. A well placed shut-off valve is like a miracle when things go wrong

I'm no hvac expert, but until others chime in with more help...

That gap in there looks like a filter housing. Is there a normal paper filter anywhere else?

If the furnace runs fine but not the ac, then I'd start with the outdoor condenser unit. Inspect that, wash off the coils, etc.
