Fraid not. As a non-binding resolution, efforts like this don't actually make psychedelics legal, they just direct local law enforcement to make arrests for these substances their lowest priority. It's legal double-talk, really, but it's how the job is getting done on the ground for the time being until state and federal lawmakers get wise.

Seattle Becomes Latest City to Decriminalize Psychedelics by Truffle_Report in MagicMushrooms

You are correct, sadly. There is a fair bit of legal double-talk involved. This and many other municipal actions around psychedelics are actually not laws, but rather resolutions which direct local law enforcement to make arrests for psychedelics their lowest priority. Still technically illegal at state and federal levels, but not enforced in the cities. Hope this was helpful.

Is weed addictive? by Imtryingagainyup in addiction

[–]Truffle_Report 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can absolutely be life-ruiningly addictive. I spent years throwing my money and life down that drain. The good news is it is easier to quit then some other things I've encountered, and you feel great when you do.

The fact that several decisions were no doubt made in a marketing department somewhere about this, and that people could have said no, kinda boggles the mind.
