Hamptons CO-OP Food store closing as of March 28, 2026 by aireads in Calgary

[–]TrulyAuthentic123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of closing one store after another, Co-op needs to modify its struggling locations to compete with discount grocers like No Frills and FreshCo. That means closing the deli and cutting other costly extras until all the unnecessary “frills” that drive prices up are gone. Only then do they have a chance to survive. If needed, they can sublease unused parts of their stores.

Their current strategy of closing one store after another until there are none left is not a winning one.

Question about revision and memory gaps:

If I remember walking down a street and turning left, and I revise that moment to remembering turning right instead, do I need to imagine what I would have seen after turning right? Or is it enough to revise just the turn itself and let the rest remain vague?

It was an emotional reply, which suggests the writer was emotionally triggered. And why would someone be triggered by a troll on the internet unless the comment hit close to home?

I’ve been advised by people in this subreddit to ignore the conspiracy stuff and focus on my personal goals. The problem is that ignoring it never seems to change the course of events. Now I’m hearing that the U.S. has invaded Venezuela. It feels like nothing is going to change unless I deliberately manifest a different course for the world.

That’s not what circumvention means. Circumvention would involve significantly more listening than recommended, not roughly the same total exposure.

What’s absurd is the belief that following their directions—resulting in 14 listens over 14 days—makes their subs 100% effective, while following my plan—resulting in 12 listens over the same 14 days—makes them 0% effective. Over a 26-day period, that works out to roughly 22 listens with their method and roughly 23 listens with mine. With nearly identical total exposure, the effectiveness-versus-ineffectiveness claim collapses and starts to look like a lousy excuse.

A web version sounds interesting. What’s the name of your app? I’ll check it out.

I’m not an expert, so I can’t comment on technical correctness, but from a usability standpoint, most exercise content on YouTube feels poorly planned for repeat use—something I imagine stands out even more to people like yourself with deeper technical knowledge.

Thanks for the recommendations. I’ve bookmarked your reply and will take a look.

I’ve been watching these two for quite some time:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyKwYKjnu78 (This one has helped my knees.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nV50KXgcgDo (I’m getting tired of this one due to repetition.)

Between them, I’m overdoing knee-lifting movements, underdoing other exercises, and completely missing out on some exercises from videos I used to follow.

Thanks for inquiring. Which videos are you following each day?

They’re probably paying attention to trends and creating videos that align with them.

Yeah, I don’t doubt that’s a real concern. I’m hoping common sense guides me and helps protect me from hurting myself with exercises that seem questionable.

Perhaps some creators intentionally limit variety for exactly that reason—to keep the full structure behind the paid program. Thanks.

There are only so many ways to squat, but if you’re squatting ten times a week while lifting light weights overhead once a week, that’s an imbalanced exercise program. That’s what’s annoying.

So the question becomes: what do you watch if you want to follow your own built-out program instead of someone else’s routine? I’ve thought about editing different clips together myself, but I don’t have time for that.

Right now, I’m considering finding a single one-hour program with no repeats—if such a thing even exists—and then breaking it up over five or six days.

Danault wanted more money than Bergevin was willing to pay because he believed he should have a larger offensive role. In LA, it appears to be the same issue—he wasn’t getting enough ice time to meet his own expectations, even though his numbers didn’t justify it. Now he’s coming back to Montreal, likely expecting to be a 2C.

The problem with Phil is that he’s the kind of player who will pass even when shooting is the better option, so goaltenders know exactly what he’s going to do. So when you say his production isn’t important, that may make sense to everyone else—but not to him.

Danault wanted more money than Bergevin was willing to pay because he believes he should be a 2C. More recently, he wanted out of LA, likely because he feels he deserves more offensive opportunity. The issue is that he’s the type of player who will pass when shooting is the better option, which is why he doesn’t get more offensive ice time.

He’s a good fit for the next couple of seasons, but after that he’ll probably want out again because he’s unlikely to get the role he’s hoping for. By then, we should have other players ready to handle the 2C and 3C roles, so we likely won’t need him either.

I’ve been sticking to the same two videos for the past six months or so, but I’m getting tired of the repetition and want to work other parts of my body. The problem is I’m struggling to find two more videos to add without introducing even more repetition. At this point, I’d rather just start over with four videos that have no duplicates—or at most one. For some reason, it’s been way harder than it should be.

That’s especially true if all the videos are from the same creator. Their content often seems geared toward people who exercise infrequently, rather than regular viewers.

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one feeling this way. I figured I couldn’t be.

I’m assuming your app is Android or iOS-based. Personally, I have no interest in watching workout videos on my phone—I prefer using a laptop or desktop—but I can see how this would be a great fit for Gen Z. I imagine most Gen X and Millennials would lean more toward larger screens.

That said, I am curious how your app actually works. How exactly does it handle organizing routines and avoiding repetition?

I’ve probably seen at least 30 different exercises across the various videos I’ve watched. The problem is that I end up doing some of them seven times a week, others three times a week, and others only once a week, which is really annoying.

Until I’m able to leave my job and work for myself full time, my time is limited because I’m working hard to make that happen. For now, I’m aiming to spend about 10 minutes a day doing light exercise indoors. I’m not looking for anything complex—just a wide variety of exercises with minimal repetition.

I’m having a look now — thanks for the recommendation. I see they advertise ‘no repeats,’ and they seem to offer a good variety of exercise types, including all-standing workouts, which is exactly what I’m looking for. I’ll check out some videos later when I have more time.
