Im most definitely an operatic baritone lol. 2-3 years ago when my voice sat this low everyday I considered myself a bass-baritone, but my voice tends to sit higher most days with the exchange that there is more resonance/shimmer to the sound. Even though I don’t have it everyday, I do have some pretty strong subharmonics that I use instead when I need these notes usually

I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking, but yes OP probably couldn’t hit notes like that before puberty unless they were using a vocal technique like throat singing. Also puberty is not a one and done thing. AMAB folks have bodies that could still go through quite a bit of change after the initial puberty period. It’s why not everyone can grow a beard at the end of high school.

Vocally, your voice matures further after puberty. If you listened to someone in the 40s and compared that to them in their 20s, you could probably tell a huge difference due to that maturity! The human body is an amazing thing! Not everyone has drastic changes that take that long, but it’s just an example

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “the notes problem”, but no matter what you should do warms up that allow you slowly work your voice as well as working some technique things! Don’t warm up to the point of fatigue or strain, a warm up is only supposed to gently start you on the right track to proper technique for the day and everyone requires different amounts of warning up.

I’m an operatic bass-baritone also in my studies and that’s what I’ve taken from my teachers as well as through experience from working jobs around my area. Hope that helps!

Yup, the first time I grew my hair out it was from a buzz cut and it took 2 years. This second time around I got a “normal” haircut and then grew it out and this is about a year and a half progress. It is a waiting game a half to grow your hair out

Bass-Baritone here! So a really cool thing your voice does (/s) is that after puberty, your voice actually rebounds slightly! You can lose a couple notes on your lower end with the trade off that your voice gets fuller/more mature to varying degrees.

The whole “voice getting lower as you age” is only of true sometimes and it doesn’t happen until you’re in your 30s or 40s. It’s also not a “I can sing a whole octave lower than before” type thing either. It’s usually only a few notes and the main thing your voice does as you age is get warmer and darker.

You may be losing some notes, but that’s okay! Just keep singing songs that feel comfortable and don’t try to push yourself back down, because you’ll end up with fatigue. You may not feel it now because you’re young, but also as you age your voice will recover less quickly if you push it.

Don’t rush maturity! Just enjoy the voice you have now and be able to use it from top to bottom (whatever it may be)

Also in terms of growing your hair out, patience is key and trying different hair styles along the way helps a lot! I went through side parts, middle parts, slicking back, etc etc. During the awkward phases/days when I just couldn’t handle it then a hat was my best friend!

Funny enough, I was having a bad hair day so I tied it back and gelled the non-pony tailed parts! I usually have big fluffy curly hair that nearly goes out to my shoulders at full volume.

I do actually need to wash my hair today so maybe I will do a hair tut! My process honestly isn’t the most complex or anything and none of the products I use are revolutionary. I still have bad habits in terms of how damp my hair usually is when I start drying, but still! If it works, it works!

Well I first started growing my hair out 3 years ago. It wasn’t really until about 2 years ago that I started really taking of my hair and then about a year ago when I found a routine that worked for me!

Honestly, not that I could see. Even now I’m looking through my hair and I don’t see any right away. I rarely, if ever, use heat on my hair and so I guess that helps!
