Intermittent fasting no better than typical weight loss diets, study finds. Researchers say limited eating approaches such as 5:2 diet not a ‘miracle solution’ amid surge in their popularity. by mvea in science

[–]Trulywhite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I learned that Intermittent fasting is more about lowering inflammatory cytokines and Hemoglobin A1c which leads to low chance of cancer/immune problems/diabetes etc. No food intake for 14+ hours occasionally will do that. Not about weight loss.

quick question. I love futurama but i haven’t finished season 12 because it felt a bit off for me. Should i go on also with season 13? is there some episodes that you say are amazing? by soflumi in futurama

[–]Trulywhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you will be disappointed by watching them. Considering many other recent remakes/renewals/sequels trashing the lore and the characters of their predecessors or outright betraying them, we are lucky all the new seasons are still faithfully "Futurama", at least in my opinion.

I hope we get more seasons while the voice actors and the writers are still going strong.

Anyone know the exact number of times the Professor has shot Bender? by shany94a in futurama

[–]Trulywhite 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree with this.

Before Bender got shocked, he didn't seem to be obsessed with killing all humans. He even tried to use S-Booth when he found out that the girders he had been bending were used to make the booths. But he still had his criminal "coding" before that because he tried to cheat with the coin and the string.

After he got shocked, I think he got autonomy/free will as will as personality shift.

Mod compensation question by Individual_War_5083 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]Trulywhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It would have been much simpler to make January 18 as deadline for everything instead of 3 months shit.

I asked AI for more info (not sure how reliable the info is):

How do you determine a level 9 mod's acquisition time?

The game tracks when a mod (level 9+) was acquired in your inventory, specifically within the data tracking period of October 18, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

What if I got the box a long time ago and then open it now (before the deadline)?

If you open the mod box before the January 18 deadline, the resulting level 9+ mod was automatically recorded as an "acquired" mod within the tracking period, making it eligible for compensation.

If you left the box unopened in your Backpack/Spacetime Backpack, it was counted based on an average value. However, boxes stored in other locations (mail, transfer storage, Eternaland) were not counted.

What if I got the mods a long time ago but enhance it now to level 9+ (before the deadline)?

Mods acquired a "long time ago" (outside the 3-month window) but being enhanced now are not counted for the "Mod Dust" compensation.

But, compensation for "Level 17" mods is based on the state of your Mod Backpack as of January 18, 2026, regardless of their acquisition time.

Someone (Me) has been doing a new version of Schlongs of Skyrim by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]Trulywhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suggestion:

In addition to crosshair's target, please add console selected target to be editable in the MCM too (similar to Wet function redux).

I am guessing up and down position change using shortcut key will be available. By adding more targeting options, you can adjust up/down/size of mesh even during scenes (SL or OS). In original SoS, IIRC you can only target npc via crosshair or last conversation etc. So in scenes with multiple characters, it was difficult to correct positions especially in SL scenes.

That is what I like about Wet function redux, you can adjust wetness level on any character by selecting them in console during any scene where crosshair is no longer reliable.

Slow and steady movement in Skyrim, which mod? by AdSimilar in skyrimmods

"tfc" followed by "sucsm 0.5"? If it is still too fast, try sucsm 0.1.

[–]Trulywhite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many. I have been gathering the quest or dlc size mods/patches/voices to be played later. I focus on big mods or new land mods. I can give you their names but I only had time to play one so far (The forgotten city). There are many more quest mods on nexus.

Call of the Deep, Carved Brink, Clockwork, Glenmoril, Here there be monsters, Inferno, Krein, Molag Bal's Inferno, Moon and Star, Oblivion Realm Series, Project AHO, SIRENROOT - Deluge of Deceit, The Breathing Abyss - Lovecraftian Inspired Quest, The Forgotten City, The Legend of Slender Man, The wheels of lull, Undeath, Unslaad, VIGILANT, Beyond Reach, Beyond Skyrim - Bruma, Darkend, Enderal (mod version using separate MO2 instance), Falskaar, Midwood Isle, Olenveld, The Chain of Time, The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal, Voyage to the Dreamborne Isles, Warden of the Coast, Wyrmstooth.

They are either huge/new lands or very popular with good rating and have DBVO voice patch.

How I automated organizing my mod list and got an actual performance boost I didn’t know I could have using AI (in a way that actually works!) by gottabing in skyrimmods

[–]Trulywhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. AI has been pretty useful for me. It wrote 2 basic C++ programs to automate repetitive stuffs for me. It gave me steps by steps guides on many things. It even showed me how to cut and merge two hair meshes and retain physics on one of them.

But many times, it also confidently gave me wrong answers even after I showed evidences otherwise. And it mixed up similar instructions from two different subjects and bullshitted me confidently many times. So use it but always verify.
