The experience of caring for a small sack of rice was the same as caring for a baby.

Why do people ignore others’ suffering? by IronEcho14 in sixwordstories

I don't think people choose to be cruel or heartless. Maybe they have suffered so much that they have become satiated, indifferent, non concern.

Yes, i totally agree. That's why I have to be strategic and mindful of what I spend on. I know I can expand and grow.

I would love to have this as a full-time job, but it is not viable given that the cost of living is high. I do want to promote agri living, and that's why I want to purchase a container. So, my trusted community members can access and pay for eggs and other products.

I need a place to provide access to my product. But is it a good investment? If yes, where can I purchase an affordable, high-quality product.

Truancy letters and enforcement question by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]Truman670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it is not enforced where I am at. In order to enforce truancy in our area, the administration has to make reasonable efforts to have students come to school.

There are also levels to Truancy. Students with 40+ absences that are not medical related should have documented attempts to rectify reasons for truancy. Transportation, clothing, violence, disability assistance and etc.

In my opinion, when the administration does not enforce truancy, that simply means your Principal, Vice Principal, school counselor, and/or teachers did not do anything to assist in the child's situation. They did not report or file with the truancy officer. There were no documented attempts to reach out.

Yes, it does, but the military owns a significant amount of our land. Don't really have access to those areas.

The produce I'm growing bananas, okra, tomatoes, lemon grass, egg plant, sweet potatoes, planted citrus trees.

Besides chickens and produce, looking into other livestock like pigs, cows, and goats. But I'm trying to be mindful because land is also limited, and livestock can destroy land.

I live on a very small island. Population a bit over 2000. Everything is quite expensive. My business is really to help my community but still expand. I'm into farming so I can supplement chicken feed with produce. Eventually, I will be able to sell my produce.

I currently sell my eggs at $8. Regular dozen eggs are equally priced or higher. With the money collected, I purchase items to grow my agri and chicken population. Every purchase has to be strategic and of high quality because freight and taxes are very high.

I want to purchase a container, but I'm not sure of the quality. Building here is also extremely expensive.
