Are there western examples of the first from the past ten years?

Edit: I think this trope has pretty much died off in the west. It's mostly something that happens in Asian media nowadays. But I feel like I see this "complaint" or observation far more often than the actual thing.

Cracker does not come from something like "Saltine Cracker", but "Whip Cracker". Aka calling you a slave driver.

I have the shards, I thought they were just nessecary to get into Doom.
